Local Legend Research Society

A community of wanderers, storytellers, and night drivers keeping the strange stories of our hometowns alive.

Who We Are

About the Society

The Local Legend Research Society is a small but stubborn band of folklore nerds, cryptid hunters, and haunted history buffs. We follow the lantern-light down backroads and into old stories, documenting the myths that never make it into history books.

Through field reports, interviews, and our companion channel The Hobo's Crypt, we track strange lights, river ghosts, forgotten monsters, and the people who still talk about them.

Anyone with a story, a notebook, or a decent pair of boots can be part of the work. Membership helps us fund trips, archive local legends, and keep the campfire burning.
